Pravic is the constructed language of the Anarresti from The Dispossessed. It’s defining feature is that it lacks ways of indicating possession, though that’s not entirely true, as the book explains at one point when a characters says “You’ll be Sabul’s man”.
A while ago, I came across an art installation called Night School on Anarres that I kinda would have liked to go to, but it was before I had read the book. Someone even went so far as to try to make Pravic. In the book it’s described as a constructed language (which it is), and so constructing a constructed language isn’t so far fetched. Apparently it wasn’t ready in time for the art installation, so they went with something they called Pravish (Pravic grammar with English words) to try to get the ideas across anyway.
